Links

Please note that we cannot endorse all of the content on any site -- for example, many of these are more Reformed than Baptist -- but we believe you will find some rich and fulfilling reading by checking out the following links.

Bible sites:

Online Bible North America.  Home of the fabulous Online Bible program which we use and have found to be a great blessing.  Best of all, the program and all of its contents (except for some newer copyrighted translations, which can be unlocked for a small one-time fee) is FREE.  Hundreds of modules (Bibles, books & commentaries) can be downloaded and installed.  Download & install the program first, then download and install the modules -- books, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. (Many additional titles not in the other module lists are found under "User-Sent Material.")

Christian Classics Ethereal Library. This site contains hundreds of older classic Christian books (though tends towards some rather mystical titles) which can be downloaded or viewed online; a Bible you can use online;  and commentaries organized by book of the Bible.

Writings and Topics:

Chapel Library. This ministry of Mount Zion Bible Church in Pensacola, FL, provides over 800 books, tracts, and booklets by classic Christian authors (see list), available by mail or for free download. They publish a free quarterly magazine, the Free Grace Broadcaster, each issue on a single theme containing excerpts from various authors.

Desiring God.  Website of John Piper of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis.  Many good articles and links on this site.

Eternal Life Ministries.  Many good articles and resources from a Puritan, Reformed and Reformed Baptist perspective.

Founders MInistries.  Established by Southern Baptists who desire to lead the Southern Baptist Convention back to its Calvinistic roots. For some good Reformed Baptist resources at this site, click the "Library" button under "Online Resources."

Grace to You.  John MacArthur's website. Writings, books, sermons, Shepherds Conference information and topics.

Hall of Church History.  A "floor map" directs you to different periods and groups of authors, including many Puritans and Reformed Baptists.

Ligonier Ministries.  Website of pastor and Bible teacher R.C. Sproul.  Excellent resources on this site including downloadable radio broadcasts.

Monergism.  Hundreds of searchable articles on theological topics from a Reformed perspective. Excellent source for older writings that can be downloaded at no cost, and good search capabilities for researching topics. Audio resources are also included.

The Reformed Reader.  This site is dedicated to the historic (Reformed) Baptist position, with writings and links on historic Baptist doctrine and theology.

Christian Books:

Banner of Truth Trust.  Publishers of many older classic Christian books, including many Puritan classics, and Banner of Truth magazine.  Excellent prices, very quick shipping, and some interesting articles on the site as well.

Monergism Books. Not a Baptist site, but an excellent source for purchasing Reformed books.

Reformation Heritage Books.  An additional resource similar to Monergism Books above.

Historic Christian Authors:
See Hall of Church history for a large selection of historic Christian authors with links to pages containing their works and articles about them. The following are just a few of our favorite sites:

Bunyan Ministries.
Jonathan Edwards page.
A.W. Pink's Archive.
Spurgeon Archive.
Asahel Nettleton: Sermons from the 2nd Great Awakening.
